The SOUTHLAND SINGERS
Exclusive Management THE COIT LYCEUM BUREAU, Citizens Building, Cleveland Ohio
Figure
THE SOUTHLAND SINGERS is a quartet of experienced, educated vocalists and instrumentalists. The demand for a quartet of colored entertainers is so strong and insistent that we are obliged to offer three such companies,
MR. JOHN DOUGLASS Manager
a colored lady quartet and two colored male quartets. The people do not seem to tire of the style of entertainment given by educated negroes who have well trained voices and who in addition to their vocal quartet and solo numbers are able to give instrumental and other entertaining features.
THE SOUTHLAND SINGERS are able to give such a program, consisting of quartets, solos, instrumental quartets, and a saxaphone trio. They make a specialty of genuine negro melodies and plantation songs.
Figure
THE SOUTHLAND SINGERS aim to portray faithfully the musical life of their race. In their vocal quartet and solo numbers the accompaniments are with piano or stringed instruments.
