WE OFFER the Colonial Saxophone Quartette as the greatest example of variety, to be offered in one com¬pany of four, to be found on the platform. They were brought from all quarters, but we found people who could come up to the requirements, and we take pleasure in launching this well trained company.
The boys are not new to the platform. Indeed, all have done more or less of road work. The combination, while new, is not amateurish and we know you will be delighted. In this company are four singers, four saxophones and three solo cornetists. The combination is irresistible. Try them.

EDWARD VEST WILLIAMS
Mr. B. M. Mack first attracted our attention because of his trained tenor voice and his excellent work on the cornet
I have known Burt. Mack for several years, recognizing in him a very unusual musical ability. In fact, I urged him to adopt the lyceum platform, knowing the discriminating judgment of its audiences would appreciate his rare talents. He combines in his singing that adaptability necessary to interpretative illustrations of all sorts of songs. His voice is heroic, or tender, or jovial, as the character of the song demands.— Frederick Howard, Des Moines, Iowa.
Mr. Burt Mack has double advantage with his well trained voice and hi* instru¬mental playing. That he will succeed goes without saying. He has that sympathetic quality which always pleases.—/. A. Van Wagenen, Pierce, Nebraska.
Mr. Edward Vest Williams brings to the company a trained tenor voice, having studied under the greatest teachers of Lincoln, Neb., Columbus, Mo., and New York City. Read the following:
Allow me to express my interest in your beautiful voice and in your musical talent, which is of a high order.—John Randolph, Round Lake, New York-
His voice is a beautiful, clear one, and one of the best that has come under my notice for many years, well schooled and with perfect diction ; he will make a success of all he attempts in the way of singing.— Herbert Owen in St. Louis Star.

GERALD R. HICKERNELL
Mr. A. Paul Atkins, the youthful band leader since his fifteenth year, and the versatile saxophonist, cor-netist and violinist, possesses also a beautiful bass voice.
Mr. Paul Atkins is a bass singer of much ability, possessing a deep, rich voice rarely equaled. He has had much experience in quartette work, and with his cornet and saxophone work will be a valuable ac¬quisition to any company.—H. G. O'Neal, Milton, Iowa.
I am well acquainted with Mr. Paul Atkins and can say that he is a cornetist of more than average ability, and ranks considerably above the soloists often found on the lecture course programs. I have worked with him and listened to him sev¬eral times and his work at all times is uni¬form and above reproach.— Walter M. Johnson, Leader Philharmonic Orchestra, Bloomfield, Iowa.
Mr. Gerald R. Hickernell is a member of Innes' Band and a cor¬net soloist no less wonderful than Kryll. He is solo cornet with Innes this coming summer (1906), which is sufficient recommendation. Mr. Hickernell plays also saxophone, post horn, trumpet, and sings bari¬tone.
Mr. Ross Hickernell played Rossini's "Inflamattus" at the Elks' memorial ser¬vice the afternoon of December 4th. Mr. Hickernell has never done better playing in his life than he did on this occasion. He possesses abundant technic, good style and a most delightful tone, and, best of all, uses them all to the best advantage. It is a pleasure always to hear Mr. Hick¬ernell. — Musical Enterprise, Camden, New Jersey.
Ross Hickernell is a most pleasing soloist. —Musical Courier, New York City.
