TYROLEAN AND AMERICAN SONGS CLASSICAL AND POPULAR SELECTIONS YODLING AND ECHO SONGS
to the scueet accompaniment of Alpine Instruments
'E have pleasure in announcing that we have been successful in securing for the fourth successive season The Celebrated Reilhofer Tyrolean Yodlers and Concert Company. These artists were selected from the famous Reilhofer family, near Ober-Ammergau, Valley of Ammer, Bavarian Alps, Bavaria. They have had a phenomenally successful career on the concert platform, within the past few years, having appeared at the leading Expositions of Europe and America.
The Bureau
Their ^eper*toif*e
of the Classic and Popular Music is very exten¬sive; in addition to the vocal and instrumental music usually rendered by most Tyrolean Companies, their programme is made up of the Classical as well as the light popular airs of the day, rendering a programme entirely dif¬ferent from that of any other Concert Company of its nature.
The power of music to sway the feelings of man¬kind has never been more cleverly executed than by the famous Reilhofer Tyrolean Yodlers and Concert Company, now playing at the Exposition. The vast number of people who have heard them have been completely charmed with their yodling and echo songs, as well as their stringed instrument playing. Not the least feature of their programme is the droll mimicry of great personages by Franz Reilhofer.— Paris Edition, New York Herald, June, 1900.

"There is a Cha^rm

Tha^t Power is Music"
So wrote one of the poets, and he probably had in mind Bavaria, the Alps Mountains and the country in and around Ober-Ammergau — the home of Franz Reilhofer and his Troupe of Alpine Yodlers, for nowhere in the world is there music "that is born of human breath," that comes straighter to the soul than
These Echo and Yodling Songs
accompanied by the skillful playing of the Moun¬tain Flute, Alpine Violin or Zither. If you have never been fortunate enough to hear such music, The Reilhofer Troupe present an opportunity not only of hearing them sing these famous Echo and Voiding songs, but also of seeing them in their magnificent native costumes playing upon Zithers, Xylophones, Alpine Violins and Mountain Flutes, a chance seldom equalled and never excelled.
The Soul of Music
slumbers in the shell Till uuaked and kindled by the master's spell"
rT*HE "soul of music" was not only kindled in Franz •*• Reilhofer, but that of humor as well. He has long been considered one of the best performers on the Gige-lira, Alpine Violin and Bow Zither. The music pro¬duced from these instruments is of the

Soul of Humop
is just as strong in him as that of music. He cleverly impersonates in life-like manner the illus¬trious personages of the past and present.
HIS FACIAL! RESOURCES
are remarkable, and with the assistance of wigs and mustaches he correctly portrays Washington, Napoleon, Bismarck, Gladstone, Lincoln, etc., making the changes from one to the other with a rapidity that is astonishing.
