Dr. Roy Russell Teeter
DR. R. R. TEETER
INTRODUCTORY
HAVE YOU HAD TEETER? Get him! He is a "Big Gun" with a big voice, a big intellect, and a big message. He is an experienced platform success. We take pride in presenting this great orator to our patrons. He knows life and its struggles. Popular as his work is in multitudes of places and many states, nowhere is he more enthusiastically received than in the town of his boyhood, where his life of lofty purposes has always been known. He is a large man with a liberal mind and a big heart, a fine presence and a strong personality, and brings a message of good cheer, wholesome humor and common sense. Get him for your lecture course, your chautauqua, or your commencement—anything—but get him.
THE MANAGEMENT.
"The Measure of a Man"
IS one man greater than another? If so, why? These are the questions discussed by Dr. Teeter in this lecture. His position is that no man is really great who has won his eminence or fame at the expense of another. He shows that the humblest boy or girl may become great through the only channel leading to true greatness — the channel of service. It is a source of inspiration to strug¬gling men and women. Its pathos brings the tear to the eye, while its humor brings laughter to the heart. Men and women have driven eighteen miles to hear it, and then declared their willingness to sit until midnight for more like it.
"Paying the Price"
THIS lecture is not simply "manufactured," but is a development of years of observation, study and ex¬perience. It deals with the eternal laws of compensation as it has to do with human achievement. It is a sound and sensible presentation of truths that ought to be im¬pressed on every youth in our country who has any ambition to succeed, or who desires to follow a life of lofty ideals or worthy motives. The lecture abounds in forcible illustrations and wholesome humor, and closes with a peroration that lifts the hearer to heights border¬ing on the sublime, and makes him glad that he belongs to the great brotherhood of man.
"Half Baked Folks"
THE world is full of people who have accomplished but half of what they set out to do. There is the education half secured, the trade half learned, the busi¬ness half understood, the life half developed. This lec¬ture shows the weakness of humanity, laughs men out of their folies, ridicules them out of their foibles, shames them out of their indifference, and spurs them on to their best endeavors. It shows that the complete life is the only life worthwhile, and will prove an inspiration to any determined soul.
''Giants and Grasshoppers"
IN the great battle of life many a defeat can be traced to faint heartedness. The man who is afraid is on the way to defeat. Imaginary enemies or giant difficulties make him quake with fear on the very eve of battle.
This is the age of achievement. Young people who hope to develop lives of usefulness or future greatness should hear this lecture. It has for its purpose the in¬spiring of men and women to greater achievements, and to have bold hearts in the presence of life s greatest responsibilities.

Dr. R. R. Teeter: In your lecture, "Pay¬ing the Price,,, you break the record among lecturers in keeping your point before the people, and they appreciate your subject, your method and your delivery. Already, our people are arranging to have you back. You should have a full house whenever you speak.
SALEM (Neb.) SENTINEL
Long before the time set for the program to begin, the opera house was filled. "Pay¬ing the Price" is a sound and sensible pre¬sentation of truths that ought to be im¬pressed upon the heart and soul of every¬one. The speaker went far back into his¬tory and showed that every nation that has become a world power has had to pay the price of its greatness, and failure to do so has always brought decay and the ultimate end of the defaulting nation. He applied the same truths and axioms to the individual and showed that no success or worthy achievement may be attained without first paying the price. The address abounded in forceful and witty illustrations, and was listened to with the utmost interest by all present.
