INTRODUCTORY
THE demand for that which is novel and unique, and yet of high order, has been rapidly increasing in the Lyceum and Con¬cert World. In filling this demand none have more nearly approxi¬mated the people's idea of artistic entertainment than The Russell Music Makers.
Mr. Russell, with his many and varied novelty instruments, is en¬tirely different, inasmuch as he has the ability to combine "novelty" with the sweet harmony of music.
The program is made still more inspiring by the appearance of a Dramatic Reader of exceptional ability.
The excellency of this company will appeal to all who love novelty blended with that harmonic inter¬pretation of song and story.

COMMENTS
To say The Russell Musical Novelty Company were highly satisfactory is not strong enough. Our people are all loud in saying that they were the best entertainers ever heard here, and we have had good ones.
—M. E. Brandon, Sup"t of Schools,
Martinsburgy 0.
The Russells were here November 11, and to say they pleased is not half expressing it. We have never had a company give the variety as these people. I believe Mr. Russell could get music out of a base wood stick and not half try.
—B. B. Strand, Grand Island, Neb.
The Russell Musical Novelty Company was the third number on our Lecture Course and they certainly "made good" in every sense of the word. I never have seen an audience so universally well pleased as they were last night. Mr. Russell is a wonder. The pleasing manner in which he handled the many musical novelty instruments which he carried with him surpassed anything we ever have had on any of our Lecture Courses. —Fred J. Whinery, Cashier, Avthur Savings Bank, Arthur, Iowa.
The Russell Company was our opening number this year, and if possible, we are going to get them back again next season. Every number was well received. The Russells are surely good.
—H. W. Morris, Souix City, la.
The initial number of the High School Lecture Course was presented at the Temple Grand Theatre last evening, and if this en-tertainment is any criterion for the balance of the course the public will certainly enjoy a succession of rare treats. The Russell Musical Novelty Company came up to the expectations of all who heard them.
—Creston (Iowa) Morning American.
The Binghamton Winter Chautauqua Com¬mittee are fortunate in having had the Russell Novelty Company here for a two days' engage¬ment. Our audience never tired of their reap¬pearance. The variety and novelty instru¬ments played by Mr. Russell proves him to be a veritable wonder. The readings and baritone solos gave excellent satisfaction. We cannot speak too highly of this Company.
—A. C. Tolley, Chairman Committee,
