THE CONCERT PARTY of the Ithaca Conservatory of Music has proven one of the best Concert organizations ever sent out by the Conservatory Enter¬tainment Bureau. Not only does the company include artists of unusual talent but their program is one of great merit and variety, such as should be enjoyed by any audience and appreciated by the most critical.
This season marks the sixteenth year that the Ithaca Conservatory Concert Organizations have toured throughout the country. The great popularity they have attained has been the result of a conscientious effort year by year to present only the best to our patrons. Sudden favor is often attained by many Lyceum organizations through some "tricky" or spectacular program; but an established reputation for quality must be founded on a legitimate and sincere effort to entertain, but also to irstruct and inspire as well. Therefore the great-est'test of any Lyceum company is the "Come Again" test; and as indicated below we have reason to be gratified with

MISS JESSIE ADKINSON, Reader and Pianist
MISS GLADYS MASON. Reader and Pianist
MISS MARTHA WEBB, Lyric Soprano and Pianist
MISS JESSIE ADKINSON, Reader and Pianist
Miss Jessie Adkinson is a dramatic reader of great power. Her power to grip and hold the attention of the audience is unusual. Although she excels in the serious and dramatic, her splendid character work makes her interpretation of humor quite as effective. Miss Adkinson is also an accomplished pianist, being a graduate from the Conservatory in both the Elocution and Piano Departments. This versatility not only makes her of great assistance in the ensemble numbers of the company, but also enables her to present several delightful pianologues.
Miss Jessie adkinson is an elocutionist of rare ability. Seldom has a reader stirred the imagination or held the rapt intention of her audience as did Miss \dkinson with her vivid artistic presentation of "King Robert of Sicilly" (Longfellow).— Wetland, Out., Oct. 6, 1974.
Miss Adkinson was the favorite. As an elocutionist she easily surpassed any one who has been in our town before. She gave "Idella and the White Plague" and "Mary Carey" and encores. Her pianologues, "Just Smilin' " and "Laugh and the World Laughs with You," were especially appreciated.—Alvinston, Ont., Nov. 9, 1914.
MISS GLADYS MASON, Violinist and Pianist
Miss Gladys Mason is a most remarkable violinist and charming young woman. She produces a big, broad tone and has w« nderful technic. Her playing is as a masters and she does not resort to gymnastics in order to command attention.— Elmira (N. V.) Star Gazette.
Miss Gladys Mason, violinist, rendered several musical numbers of rare beauty at the concert in the chapel of Franklin Marshall College last evening.- Lancaster {Pa.) New Era.
Miss Mason, violinist, rendered a number of very difficult selections and was received with much favor. She responded to several encores.—Amsterdam {N. Y.) Daily.
MISS MARTHA WEBB, Vocalist and Pianist
Miss Martha Wtbb has for several years been a member of the advanced festival choir of Cornell University, in addition to her regular studies ot the Ithaca Conservatory of Music. She has an excellent soprano voice which has received good training, and she has had many opportunities for concert and lyceuui work. She was graduated from the Ithaca Conservatory of Music and also from the College of A ts and Sciences this year. She has received from both the Conservatory and Cornell UuiveiMty the most favorable commendation.
In addition to her work as a vocalist Miss Webb is an accomplished pianist, and will assist in the ensemble numbers of the company.
The program offered by the Concert Party is of the unusual kind. Each member is a solo artist, yet versatile, possessing ability to assist in the concert ensemble numbers. The even¬ing is filled with delightful selections in which the entire company assists, m aking a pro¬gram which "is different" and yet, when rendered by trained artists, is pleasing to everyone, however little may be their musical education.

" Very Pleasing"
A large number was present at the Ivansingburgh High School last evening, when a very pleasing musical and literary entertainment was given by the members of the Ithaca Conservatory Enter¬tainment Trio, under the auspices of the Adelphan society of the Lansingburgh High School. The personnel of the company is as follows : Miss Eve¬lyn Jones, soprano ; Miss Edna Beeby, violinist ; and Frederick L,. Pratt, impersonator. The pro¬gram was a long and varied one and was well •£• appreciated. — Troy (N. Y.) Record, Jan. 2S, 1915.
"Each Made a Favorable Impression"
The Ithaca Conservatory Trio was here Saturday and Sunday evenings and gave very good satisfac¬tion indeed. I have heard nothing but the high¬est praises passed upon all the members. Each made a favorable impression. Mr. Pratt's read¬ings were very much appreciated. Miss Jones' voice is clear and sweet. Miss Beebe is an artist of rare ability and I think has a bright future be¬fore her.—J. KIRKWOOD CRAIG, M. E. Parsonage, Littleton, N. H., Feb. 25, 1915.
