Description	Madeleine Thien's talk is titled, "The Shattered Mirror: On the Migrant in Literature and Politics" and says that "my writing allows me to reflect a self that is often in-between places, that is restless and that is not satisfied." Gutierrez Mangansakan II titled his talk "Travelling Without Moving" and describes his motives for migration as well as what keeps his bond to his home country. Amina Zaydan's talk is titled "Migrant second time around" and says her writing has been a way to exorcise the bad feelings about what it means to be a migrant in one's own country. Tarek Eltayeb titles his talk in a couplet "The Migrant as a Poet/The Poet as a Migrant" and states "When both are in one person, it can be a catastrophe, or it can produce a unique creation from the suffering he has witnessed."
