They were shocking oats for Mr. Turner. It was their first experience in an oats field—and in all probability the first experience for Mr. Turner, having 50 war prisoners from "sunny" Italy roaming over his fields gathering up bundles of heavy oats from his 190 acres and putting them into shocks ready to be gathered in and hauled to the separtor.--
The inovation was unique, in fact, and the novelty of it was one 'of the chief matters of interest in the community this week.
