In 1977 Albert Kaplan purchased a daguerreotype receipted as "Portrait of a Young Man" from an art gallery in New York and has tried to prove that the man is Abraham Lincoln. Inscription on top reads "E. White Maker N.Y. Second Quality."
This building was built in 1915 as an isolation ward for the original University Hospital. It later became the Old Music Building. It fell into disrepair but was restored and renamed Stuit Hall in 2011.
