We had one in our class just like her. After graduation she taught a district school; married a young Methodist minister who contracted acute indigestion and died; her only son was run over by a hack while she was reading a paper on The Elevation of the Masses before the Woman's Rights Society and she spent her old age in sorrowing over the good times she had missed.
