Description	Carl Menzer was manager of UI radio station WSUI from its inception in 1922 until 1968, when he retired. He, along with Prof. E.B. Kurtz of the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, were largely responsible for the development of experimental television broadcasting during the 1930's at UI.
