Maj. Orson B. Powers said the army has arranged to use Camp Dodge, several miles northwest of here, for an induction station and reception center and that the last group of selectees went thru the Ft. Des Moines reception center Saturday.
Major Powers, who will be commanding officer of the Camp Dodge station, said -selectees will continue to be inducted at Ft. Des Moines but they will be shipped out on the same day to some other reception center in the seventh corps area.
He said that arrangement would continue for several weeks until the reception center at Camp Dodge is completed. The work will include the construction of 10 large buildings and
