Take Tests for WAAC Officers Training
These women, applying for training as officers in the army's auxiliary corps, spent Thursday | afternoon taking mental alertness tests in the new federal building. Meanwhile, in Washington, D. C, the army limited the number of women who may take physical examinations for the officers school, which will be at Fort Des Moines army post. Each of the nine corps areas will select 500 for the examination from those receiving highest ratings in mental tests and personal interviews. A second interview will be granted those who pass physical examination.

More than 350 applications for enlistment in the officers' school of the women's army auxiliary corps had been received at the Des Moines army recruiting office early Thursday evening.
The office planned to accept them up to midnight, and to take any others coming through the mails which were postmarked
