Seahawk Boxers Annex Duel, 7-4
IOWA CITY. IA.-The Iowa Seahawks punched their way to their second team victory of the season when they defeated the Minneapolis! Minn., Naval Air station here? Thursday night, before 2,000 persons. The Cadets took four of seven bouts.
There were no knockouts, although Earl Orcutt of Minneapolis scored a second-round technical knockout over D. D. Hicks in the 165-pound division.
The Minneapolis sailors missed a chance for victory in the 175-pound class when Milbern Brown, former Golden Glover, lost the judges' decisions because of fouling in the clinches.
