A convoy of army trucks from the post at Fort Des Moines, and operated by members of the WAACs visited Osceola this morning on a regular training maneuver.
The convoy was made up of eight trucks, all driven by WAACs. About 30 members of the Women's Army made up the detachment. Truck driving is one of the classes of service open to the WAACs.
Several regular army officers accompanied the group, and all took lunch at the Jones^fiai^at noon.
