They are the men and women I who are trying to fill a boxcar! for the "friendship train." This is what they want from the community:-





Donations   of   cash,   flour   in 100  pound   bags  or evaporated milk in large   (13'2 oz.)  cans. I      They've set up this machinery to collect those things:-





Farmers may bring or send cash or checks to the farm bureau office. If they want to do-[nate ear corn they may call the | farm bureau and arrangements iwill be made to send a truck for !the corn on Friday. The corn will be turned into casto to buy flour with.--   Persons in Marshalltown can I  bring flour  or cash  to  one  of

The reason that the citizens I committee won't take thinks like I canned corn or other canned items | is because they contain too much water-and therefore waste shipping space-and because many items are wasted abroad because millers there do not know how to process them.-

Children have the best deal of all. Both the Strand and Odeon theaters will have special shows for children Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Adimission is one or more large cans of evaporated milk.-
