With tlie beginning of yeoman training at the Iowa State teachers coUe.ge navy base, many changes are taking place on the campus.
Approximately 300 Waves who graduated with tlie last group from this trailing station, remained for the first class in yeoman training. Others now located on the campus are the fourth and final group for indoctrination classes.
After the completion of this last indoctrination class early in May, the school will be entirely a yeoman training cen-tpi'. With this class, approxi-in^tely 4,2 0 0 young women will have been started on navy careers.
Varied Train in"
Yeoman are trained in all types of office work, such as typing, stenography, filing and record keeping in navy routine. The time of training will depend on each woman's ability. They may become parachute riggers, mechanics. or radio operators.
