WAAC Officer to Speak On Women's Part in War
Women's part in the war effort, particularly the major role they are expected to take in the sale and purchasing of War Bondsjwill be discussed by Third Officer Kathryn Mc-Williams of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps of Fort Des Moines, when shu speaks at a public meeting at 8 p. iri. Monday, April 26, in the gymnasium of the Young Women's Christian association.
The meeting, under the sponsorship of the Muscatine County Women's division of the War Savings Staff, is planned to create greater interest in War Bond sales. Miss McWilliams will also speak on op-,
portunities offered for service in the WAACS and on other timely topics.
Selections by a quartet and a talk by Robert L. Roach, Muscatine county War Bond chairman, will precede the address by Officer McWilliams. Mrs. V. H. Lear, chairman of the women's division, will preside.
