Third Officer Elizabeth F. Adams of the WAAC training center at Ft. Des Moines, will speak at the regular meeting of the American Legion post Monday night, with a free dinner to members and bondholders scheduled for 6:30.
Third Officer Adams was awarded the Croix de Gurere for bravery-under fire while driving an ambulance in France in this World War, she helped evacuate refugees from the Belgian front in the advance of the Nazi thrust, and was decorated by the French government.
