An average &f 44 applicants a day, candidate's as officers in the naval reserve, visit the Bes Moines offices in the 01$ Federal building, it was announced Saturday.
Since Jan. 1 there have been 4,-|790 men visit the local office. More than three-fourths of the candidates travel to the local office from cities throughout Iowa.
Although the age limits are from 20 to 50, most are between I 30 and 40. Most have a college degree or extensive experience, and have a family.
Also it was announced that an average of 12 young women are candidates daily for WAVES and SPARS.
