(Money collected here through the efforts of the Eldora Woman's club, the Community ^fW> and the Rotary ,club, was usexi to buy, more than thirty 1004b. sacks of flour which was placed on the heavily 4aden train when it stopped in Marshalltown.-
In addition, students of Eldora Consolidated schools collected the 1,200 cans of condensed milk aaf their ipart off the contribution. Many of the cans were labeled with the names and addresses of local students, who are hoping some of the recipients of the milk will correspond with them.-
The response of Eldora and Hardin county residents to the appeal for relief for hungry Europeans was said to compare fav-1 oraJbly with that of otiher 'Iowj?j communities.--- ^ '
