Prisoners |of w^r will do farm work within 50 miles of Rockwell City it was learned this week when announcement was made that a group of 100 Italian war prisoners will be sent to the Adams ; Ranch," near Odebolt, in Sac county to assist with the harvest on the large 6,400-acre farm.-
Thirty-fivev soldiers, including a captain, four corporals and 30 privates, will be on duty to guard the men at all times and to prevent possible escape. The prisoners will work 10 hours a day with one hour off for lunch. They will -receive pay for their work.-
