Iowa County Has Quota Of 2, BuOIas Given No Woma^nPo Marine Corps
Iowa county has given its share of fighting men to the marine corps, hut to date has given no woman to the marine corps women's reserve, although the county quota is two women.
A communication from the marine corps office at 303 Old Federal Bldg., Des Moines, points out that the marine corps wants each Iowa county represented in its women's reserve, which is aimed at freeing well-trained marines from desk jobs for combat duty.
Applicants must .be in the 20-to-36-year age group, must have had at least two years of high school or business school, and must be in sound physical condition.
By writing to the Des Moines office, eligible applicants can arrange i for enlistment at no expense to them-i selves whatever^
