YEOMAN SONJA JOHNSON
The first SPAR to be assigned to duty in Dubuque is Yeoman Third Class Sonja Johnson, who has been transferred from the district Coast Guard office at St. Louis, to the Marine Inspection office at Dubuque. Yeoman Johnson is from Chicago, ill., and has been in the service for eight months. She received her primary training at Oklahoma Agriculture and Mechanical College, Stillwater, and came to Dubuque after three months work at the district office.
