Ride In A Jeep for Bond Buyers
WACS and WAVES Coming to Furnish Program—Parade in Evening at 7 O'clock
The big day of the 3rd War Loan Bond Drive}; will be next Wednesday, September 22, in the city of Tama.
Headquarters at Des Moines have arranged to send a jeep to Tama for the day and several WACS from Des Moines and several WAVES from Cedar Falls to put on a program. A Ride in a Jeep
Those who buy bonds will be given a ride in the jeep and an effort will be made to make them fast drives so that bond buyers will get a good shaking up in this battle car. Several men from Tama and South of Tama are already trying to arrange to buy the first bonds and get the first rides in the jeep.
During the day the time will be largely devoted to buying bonds. Just when the jeep arrives here has not yet been ascertained. The WACS and WAVES will arrive in the afternoon. Parade at 7 P. M.
