numerous jobs that WACs fill, in answer to many questions asked her recently.
"Here are just a few of the many things WACs are doing in their assignment at Army camps and fields in this country and overseas," Lieut. Mrok said. "First, WAC radio operators are now on duty with the Army Air Forces. Women in these jobs communicate in code with air fields and with JArmy bases and aircraft in flight. They receive distress signals, and direct aircraft when it is lost. 'They give weather reports and
changes in orders and destinations, and are also now serving as radio operators for training planes in flight."
