3 Groups Here on Naval Recruiting
Lt. Anne M. Dorsey of the WAVES will be at: the district naval recruiting station here Wednesday to meet women 20 to 50 interested in qualifying as officers.
Candidates must be college graduates. Only interviews will be given here but women able to meet qualifications and desiring to join the WAVES will be provided transportation to Des Moines to take physical examinations later.
O. P. Sampson, a naval ships repair unit recruiter, will be at the station Wednesday and Thursday to answer questions about his branch of the service, open to skilled workers up to 55 years old.'
Lt. C. W. Muilenburg had charge of an aviation cadet selection board here Monday, interviewing high school seniors of 17 and 18 who will graduate this spring.
