The train was laden chiefly with "fuel foods", wheat and other cereals from the southwestern grain-raising states. It was scheduled to move across the Mississippi river into Illinois Saturday morning, the first train, which originated at Los Angeles, Cal., only had 85 cars by the time it reached the Mississippi river at Clinton.--
The train left Wichita, Kan.f early Friday with 71 cars assem- , bled from seven southwestern states. They carried every type of food from vitamin pills to Texas chili in addition to many tons of grain.-
The train swelled to 151r. Cars by the time it reached^ Kansas City, Mo., where 23 jarfore were added as contributipris from Kansas C^ty, Westopfist. Joseph, and other Vestejsif^Missouri cities.
