Cedar Falp—Christmas ceremonies for the Waves and army air force students will begin with special Chrlslmas programs in all of the churches and continue thruout the week at the campus. Restrictions were lifted for the navy Waves and they were allowed to. decorate their rooms in the Christmas theme and to set up Christmas trees in the lounge at U. S. S. Bartlett.
The Waves will be guests of the air students on the evening of Dec. 22, when the men will put on a variety show in the auditorium, consisting of skits, musical numbers and selections. The detachment band will furnish the music.
Program Christmas Eve.
On Christmas eve Dr. Guy Wagner, chairman of the camp and hospital council of the Red Cross, assisted by local civic, fraternal and religious organizations, will present a program for both military groups. School children will pass candy for the audience. Following the program the group will convene to the Commons for open house.
Members of both military groups will be allowed to sleep late on Christmas day.
At the big turkey dinner Waves and cadets will eat together and they win be given special gifts furnished by the Red Cross.
In the afternoon movies will be furnished by the U. S. naval training station.
For the aviation students in the college hospital and the Waves in the navy sick bay the Red Cross council has secured special gifts and everything possible will be done to make their Christmas happier.
The Commons will be turned over to the military personnel for a big dance Christmas night and refreshments will be served.
Those wishing to entertain service people in their homes Christmas day may contact Chaplain Kettell before Wednesday.
