Recruiting Plans Topic
for Discussion at
Luncheon Today
Plans ior the Wave recruiting drive in Sioux City will be discussed at a luncheon at noon today at the Mayfair hotel which will be attended by members of the Wave civilian committee and Wave Recruiters Ensign Ethel Vessey and Gail Hughes, specialist third class.
The discussion will include a talk by Lieut. Ralph N. Larson. vho is in Sioux City in the interests of recruiting naval aviation cadets and men qualified for navy commissions.
Members of the civilian committee include Mrs. H. C. Shull. Mrs. Van Hammerstrom, Mrs. Art Harstad, Miss Elizabeth Sam-mons, Mrs. Schoen, Mrs. Editha K. Webster and Mrs. Mary L. Erskine.
Ensign Vessey, officer in charge of the Wave information center, 525 Fifth street, has announced that movies will be shown at the center at 8 p. m. Saturday, and Tuesday. The pictures are entitled That Men May Fight, and Women in Blue. Monday night the films will be shown to groups at the Y. W. C. A. Other organizations interested and wishing to have the films shown at their meetings are asked to contact the Wave ™~<—
