Waterworks Improvement Plan To Assure £|mp Water Supply

Plans ar^being made by the city council here jto amprove and enlarge the waterworks in order to furnish watef to the proposed prison camp here. The council has entered into a letter contract to supply the water, Mr Corey, representative of the district engineer's office, being here last week to negotiate the contract.-
The city plans to expand the water plant system, having made an agreement with Ray Schenck for the lease of Crabill lake, which will be used to store water. Other improvements are planned in order to accommodate the camp.-
The city will let the contracts and furnish the water, payment to be made by the government for water used at the camp at a set rate. There has been no announcement as to the cost of the improvement or when contracts for the improvement will be made.-
