AIR WAC RECRUIT DRIVE GETS NEW BLOOD LOCALLY
Civil Air Patrol Joins Present Drive

Last night Capt. J. Reed Capps, of the Iowa Wing Staff, of the Civil Air Patrol together with Lt Elizabeth Davidson and Sgt. Gloria Burden, of the Air WACS visited the regular Monday night session of the Centervllle Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol and launched the local Air WAC procurement drive.
Helen Blfstrom was commissioned last night as Warrant Oficer and procurement official for Air WACS. The entire local Squadron will cooperate with the local Air WAC drive committee consisting of Russell Buss, Mrs. Teresa Blachley, and others in seeking additional Atr WAC recruits. The Centerville squadron has been assigned nine counties in south Central Iowa as its territory in recruiting both WACs and Army Air Corps Cadet recruits. Additional data regarding the local effort will be made later as the campaign here is mapped.
