More Wacs Urgently Needed Now
COLONEL PLUGS FOR WACS—When a soldier receives a furlough from Col. Christian Hlldebrand, executive officer of the lank destroyer replacement training center. Camp Hood, Texas, he receives this message from the colonel: "Here Is your furlough. When,you get home, be sure and tell your family and all Ihe eligible young women in your community what a wonderful Job the women'!* army corps Is doing and help us to recruit more women for it."

the T building here. "At army installations thruout the Seventh service command, Wac barracks are still unoccupied and post commanders are becoming more and more urgent in their pleas for more Wacs. In droves men are being shipped from posts in this country for overseas duty and these vacancies must be filled.'1 she said.
