j One hundred Italians from an interment camp at Weingarten, Mo., with 35 members of the military police as guards, are expected here within the next few days to do nursery work.
A number of the soldiers who ! were here in July for detasseling ' work have written friends that they expect to return to Shenan-doah. Whether any of the same Itlians, now U. S. allies, will be ; here is not yet known. The name j of the commanding officer has not been announced.
The Italians, who were captured as prisoners earlier in the war, will be housed at the CCC camp, while the^jgpldiers' .barracks will be th%^Kit. Arbor_jjuxsjal£g^3rick building~a~E tlie~~Tntersection of Wabash avenue and Broad street. It was formerly the Iowana Nursery at 217 West Wabash.
