Girls in this aiea will have an opportunity to obtain first-hand information on the'WAVES here this week, when a special board ot WAVE officers aijd enlisted personnel visits trps city. The board will headquarter at the pest office.
Girls who may be interested in the service are asked to leave their names with the postmaster so that they can be contacted in their homes.
Physical examinatons will be given at the Naval Air Station, Ot-tumwa, and application papers completed while the board is in session in this part of the state so that it will be unnecessary for girls to travel to distant points in order to complete them.
More than 250 Navy jobs are open to women between 20 and 35 years of age, inclusive, who have average good health and a minimum of two years of high school or college. Married women are eligible for enlistment if they have no children under eighteen years of age.
