At Navy Show On July 4
Assignments were made to each of tht. cooperating organizations in tie Fifth War Loan-Navy Incent^e Sliow to be held here July 4. at/a meeting yesterday afternoon. I. H. Hart, chairman of the War Finance committee presided.
A review by the WAVES stationed at Iowa State Teachers college will be a feature at 7:20 p. m. preceding the show. The show, held at the college stadium, will begin at 8 p. m. Plans for lighting the stadium with floodlights furnished by the city and the college have been made.
"Open At 6:30
The grounds will be open at 6:30 in order for persons to view the exhibits accompanying the show and which will be placed at the south end of the stadium between the tracks and tae stadium.
Parking facilities will be arranged in front of the men's gymnasium and in the area to the west of the stadium across the highway.
The War Finance committee is making arrangements for a booth to be erected for the sale of War Bonds at that time. The organization to be in charge of this booth will be announced at a later date.
Clark Streeter was present yesterday as the city's representative, Lcuis Schwanke, for the police, Sgt. Russell Fisher for the highway patrol. L. L. Mendenhall for the college, Reuben Miller for the American Legion, Ensign Ouida Luter for the navy and E. E. Cole, Glen Crawford and John Swope from the college.
