Seek Women for Service in WAC
Maj. Ivan W. Cahoon will be in Iowa for a wfcck beginning Wednesday to interview women for special service with the women's army corps. '
He is seeking women, from 20 to 49 years of age inclusive, for pharmacy, optometry, dental, laboratory and rehabilitation technicians. Ratings are offered up to that of technical sergeant, which pays $114. a month, plus living expenses. He also is recruiting women as dietitians and
therapy aides, who may be appointed officers.
He will be at Cedar Rapids on Wednesday and Thursday; at Davenport on Saturday and Sunday; and at the Des Moines recruiting office in the Old Federal building on Nov. 6.
Major Cahoon was. an outstanding football player at Gon-zaga college, Spokane, Wash., and later played with the Green Bay Packers professional team.
