K#lly, chairman of the recruitment cfcmmitte in Keokuk county report? nine army hospitals in the Seventh Service Command are urgently in need of nurses To ease the nursing situation in various military hospitals in the United States, the army is asking for 350 civilian nurses, who meet the professional but not the physical and age qualifications required by the Army Nurse Corps.
Nurses failing to pass the army physical should be told of this opportunity to serve the military.
National headquarters in Washington is calling for nurses. The army needs 3000 nurses a mcnths and navy need 500 a month. We must meet the quota or a draft is very probable, if the quotas can not be met otherwise.
Any nurses in Keokuk county that can meet these requirements should get in touch with Mrs. John Kelly.
