Capt. Bain Speaker For Graduation Of WAVE Yeoman

graduation! exercises to be held at (he I own State Teachers college auditorium at 10 o'clock Monday morning for out-' going trainees at the Naval Training School for Yeomen of the Women's Reserve. Comm. B. B. Peftee. commanding officer, will introduce the graduation speaker. Capt. E. 0. Bain of Great Lakes.
Captain Bain was born in Auburn, N. V.. and graduated from the Naval Academy in the Class of 1920. During the First World War he served on transports, and since that time has been continually in submarine service except for two years service aboard the USS Lexington and the USS Saratoga.
He saw extensive combat service aboard submarines in the Pacific theatre in this war.
Captain Bain, in addition to the gold dolphins of a sibmai'in-ion of Merit. Uiecmfwyp mfwyn the gold dolphins of a submarin-¦ ribbons of the Legion of Merit, the Victory Medal. the E.\pedltonary Force Medal, then National Defense Medal, and the ribbons of the American Theatre and the Pacific-Asiatic Theatre in this War.
Captain Bain is at present Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel and Director of Training. Ninth Naval District Head-quarters. Great Lakes. 111.
