L Bohgren, officer in charge of the Des Moines recruiting district, released the announcement today ithat commencing October 29, and ■every week thereafter, the Iowa Recruiting Service had been authorized to recruit Waves who will receive their training at the United States Naval Training.Center, Bain-'bridge, Md. Formerly all Iowa Wave recruits were sent to Great Lakes, 111., for training.
