jlowa Prison Camps Ready
I Await First Croup of Captives.
The first continuants of German war prisoners will peg-in arriving in about a week at\the camps at Clarinda and Algona, Lieut. Col. Courtney * P. Young, commander of the second district of the seventh service command, said Saturday.------
The first groups likely will j be transferred from other I camps, but later contingents j will arrive directly from overseas, the colonel added. Present plans are to send 4,-1
J000 prisoners to the camps. The!
colonel expects half that number
to arrive within a ,month or six
The camps are ready for the prisoners.
Meanwhile, the federal bureau of investigation announced meetings would be held throughout I Iowa to acquaint law enforce-iment officers with methods of Handling any escapes or other" problems that come up incident to the camps.
