Guards at Algona ---
Still Demand for Victory | Volumes, Library Says j
More than 100 Victory books tcon- j tributed by the people of Red Oak I were recently sent for the use of guards at the Algona, la., war prisoners' camp.
While the government is now providing libraries for training camps, there are still military uses for donated books, the local library j announced. A letter of appreciation j for the donation was received from | the Algona camp.
Transportation for these books i were paid out of funds raised by the Washington and Junior high! school children in their recent scrap drives.--- m.---aB'
