$15 REWARD IN CAPTURE
Delbeij^3bertil3-year-old farm boy of Algona, la., has received a $15 reward for assistingXrufthe recapture of two German prisoners.
The prisoners, Karl Vogt and Ernst Backhaws, escaped Sunday and were seen by the youth Monday on a railroad right-of-way 13 miles west of Algona. The boy notified authorities, and enlisted the aid of his father.
Father and son held the prisoners at the point of shotguns until highway patrolmen arrived.
The reward was made by Col. Arthur E, Lobdell, commanding officer of the Algona prisoner of war camn.
