Two ^-^erlrian f prisoners escaped froml the I Algona prison, camp Monday of fthis week. They made their getaway at about 7:00 in the evening, and are Karl Vogt, 21, and Ernest Backhaws, 24.
Vogt is five feet, five inches tall, 146 pounds, blue eyes, brown curly hair parted on the left side, fair complexion and medium build, and wearing the regular prison garb with large letters M. P. on the uniform.
Blackhaws is five feet seven inches tall, weight 125 pounds, blue eyes, wears heavy framed thick glasses; blond hair parted in the middle, ruddy complexion and slight build. ! Vogt speaks some English but I with an accent. Blackhaws speaks no English.
It was not known which way they went.
This is the third escape from the I prison so far reported since its establishment.
