Tenth mid flrjil concert of the Clarinda iVEunicifcal Band is scheduled foi'/Thiirs(fay evening of this week, \#th feafures as shown in the program published herewith.
The picture shown here was taken last Thursday evening, with several of the regular members absent; this indicates that the, band membership has been well up to par. With so many of our men drafted and others away in Avar production work, this large membership might seem surprising, but it has been kept up in inclusion of ! many young women, a. few mu-I sicians from outside. The quality j of the music under the able direc-I tion of Joe Westby (shown standing at'left) has indeed been well i up to the high standard of past municipal bands.
