THE WOMEN'S ARMY.
Iowa gets ie. on the war program by having the new officers training camp for the women's army located at Camp Dodge. The official designation of this new army is the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. They are not to do actual fighting. But they will be assigned to duties of a non-combatant nature, behind the lines and on the home field. Reports are that thousands of women want to enter the Corps. This new organification has been looked upon with varying degrees of approval or disapproval. But congress has passed the bill and the president has approved. This war has brought many revolutionary changes in methods of fighting. It is a natural accompaniment that there be changes in methods of organization also, and the new women's army is one of them.
