Though Iowa's economy is primarily agricultural, mineral production has also been historically important. This digital collection includes annual reports and technical papers published by the Iowa Geological Survey from around the turn of the twentieth century, some of which are out-of-print. The reports describe the Iowa landscape and its composition - coal deposits, limestone, clay, fossils, and rocks.
