Description
Produced for the State University of Iowa Fine Arts Festival held in July 1939. Features 14 original Grant Wood works on display in the main lounge of the Iowa Union, including Birthplace of Herbert Hoover and American Gothic, as well as two just-completed works: New Road, and Haying. Also on display were paintings by Marvin Cone.

Description
The book contains sketches for what would become a 25-foot stained glass window honoring all those who died in America's six wars, from the Revolution through World War I. The window was commissioned by the Veterans Memorial Commission of Cedar Rapids and was installed in 1929 in Veterans Memorial Building/City Hall.
