H- c/ Lagos May 26 Dear Frariiiiliiites: Yoa have all been on iH^ aiind since my arrival early last Sunday morn* I^ve decideJ that of all the Franklin trips--this is surely the most hectic• vVe see 0:1 an average 15-20 people per day—printors, publishers, librarians, Ministry of Education people, etc, etc. And we're getting: some very interesting detail and cOiUtnents on Franklin in riigeria--most of them positive and regretting our phase out and of course, some candidi Griff Davis has done a .marvelous Job of setting up appoint ..ents for Iiod and me, and I think we'll rea^-ly be able to write the bulk of the rvport before our return on June Z. 0?here is an amazing amount of detail just in tv:;rms of closing out the office and cecision making on manuscripts under our sponsorship-~but I think we'll manage. I'm writing this note while on the run--off to have a session with Ivir.
