UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ORGANIZE. Taking advantage of the presence in the city of a number of colored ' alumni of the University ot Iowa, a meeting was held last Thursdisy even¬ ing in the cafeteria of the Model drug store* conducted by .W. Hyde. Des Mioines, liberal arts 12, recording ^retary; Aix^hie A. Alexander, Des koines, civil engi¬ neer 12, corresponding serretary; Wade Hampton McCree, pharmaceuti¬ cal graduate 13, treasurer.
